I love to plan family travel adventures with our four kids. Encouraging time in nature, National Parks travel, backpacking and hiking are my passions and I love to write about them.
That’s such a beautiful part of the country. I love the dinosaur tracks! It reminds me of a place we visited in Texas a few years ago, not too far from Ft. Worth, believe it or not. Here’s our post from when we were there if you want to check it out. http://turtlestravel.com/2007/10/16/dinosaur-valley/
Thanks so much for posting. That does look so much like the ones we saw! Isn’t it amazing to see prints from actual dinosaurs?
That looks awesome! The kids look like they are having a blast and the dinosaur prints are very cool. I especially love the handprint picture. I wish we were going near there on our trip out west next year, but we will be further south in Utah.
There’s always next time! 😉 Have fun it Utah!
What a great family trip! We’ve never taken our kids white water rafting, and I have to admit that I don’t normally think of rafting out in Utah. Shows how much I don’t know. This is definitely a cool looking place.
It was a blast! I only wish it wasn’t such an expensive hobby or we would go more often.
It’s amazing to me how much I’ve traveled and yet how little I’ve seen of this country. Really nice read, thank you!
I know. I am always feeling this way! Happy Travels to you!
So glad you got to see such a fun part of Utah! A lot of people never think about it when they plan their big vacations here. The Green River is a great place for rafting, too! Makes me think we should pack the car for a quick weekend trip out there soon.
You are lucky to live near there! We love visiting Utah!
