Road Trip the WorldHi there and Welcome! Let me introduce our family, who loves to Road Trip the World. I’m Tricia, wife to Dave, and mom to 4 kids. Sophie is 18, Naomi is 17, and Maya and Garrett are 13-year-old twins and we are on a mission to travel across the country as frequently as possible and see all of America’s National Parks while encouraging other families to get outside to camp, hike and backpack. We are an incredibly typical American family with a house, jobs, school, sports, and a million other activities that all take up valuable time.

But while our lives at home are busy, we have made travel and outdoor adventure a priority and we take numerous road trips throughout the year to locations across the United States and Canada. Our kids are experienced road trippers, but we’ve definitely had our ups and downs on family vacations and have learned a lot along the way. Look around and explore our site with travel tips and trip reports for vacation spots throughout North America as well as suggestions for hiking, camping and backpacking with kids.
