Adventure Van Travels – Driving the Pacific Coast Highway

It’s long been on my bucket list to drive the Pacific Coast Highway, and it definitely lived up to our expectations!     We spent a beautiful, sunny, relaxing day driving from Pismo Beach to Big Sur. The scenery is amazing, the wildlife fun to observe and there are tons of quirky and fun stops along the way.          But here are a few things we learned-

Fill up before you leave. Gas is almost 4 bucks a gallon on the PCH!

If you see a place to stop and use the bathroom, go then! There may not be one when you need it!

If camping, book campsites early! Every campground we passed had FULL signs out front, and we were glad we had sites already booked.

And most of all, take your time. Stop when you want and enjoy the views! Happy travels!
