Adventure Van Travels – Adios Yosemite!

Still sore from Half Dome, we slept late this morning before packing up to leave Yosemite. We spent a while checking out the Majestic Yosemite Hotel before heading to El Capitan for the Ask a Climber program. An experienced park ranger climber set up telescopes so we could view climbers heading up the granite while he answered questions. Climbers are amazing!We also stopped at Tuolumne Grove so Dave and Garrett could see a Giant Sequoia Grove. Garrett and the rest of the kids were too tired to hike the steep Grove trail, but Dave and I enjoyed it. And now we are escaping the crowds and heading north to Lassen Volcanic National Park. Adios, Yosemite- it’s been real!
