Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving, Family Time and Get outside!

#optoutside Road Trip the WorldHope today finds you happy, healthy and satisfied!  We had a two day celebration of Thanksgiving and I couldn’t feel more blessed, thankful and just plain full.  We didn’t travel anywhere and we had no out of town visitors, so we were able to have two days of quiet family time over the holiday break. That hardly ever happens! So we made the most of our off time. While prepping for our Thanksgiving feast on Wednesday, we were able to have a fun and relaxing day. We watched Inside Out in the morning.  Can’t lie, it made me teary! If you haven’t seen this yet, you should.  It is a Great family movie. We spent the afternoon at Woodland Mound Park where we hiked for a bit together. And best of all, we attended a Thanksgiving celebration service at Crossroads, the church we’ve been a part of since the kids were babies. It was a great day.Crossroads Community ChurchWoodland Mound Park: Road Trip the WorldRoad Trip the World ThanksgivingWe spent Thanksgiving Day running a local 10K, parade watching on TV, playing cards, cooking, hiking at Johnson Hills Park and feasting.  Life is good and I am truly thankful for all of our blessings. “Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song” Psalm 95:2.
