We continue to be amazed at the beauty of the Canadian Rockies and while we were sad to leave Jasper, we were excited to head south to Banff on the amazingly scenic Icefields Parkway. We had seen a Grizzly in Jasper on the trail from our campsite into Jasper Town, and we were hoping to see more wildlife on the road.
Not only was the scenery amazing on the Icefields Parkway, we saw 2 black bears and a family of big horn sheep.
This was truly and unforgettable drive. And our site at Two Jacks Lakeside is beautiful! The crystal blue lake borders our campsite. Banff is truly a magical place to be.
And tomorrow we plan to head to Banff town and up to Lake Louise to explore. Hoping the weather cooperates!
